Duncan murder free essay sample

On the dark and cold night of December 9th, the great King Duncan of Scotland was murdered in his chamber. Nevertheless fearing for their own lives fled Scotland, Malcolm for England and Donalbain for Ireland. Macduff says, â€Å"It is speculated that king’s sons have bribed the guards to kill Duncan because the crown passes to nearest eligible kin. † During all the commotion Lady Macbeth seemed to be in shock and fainted Macbeth was nervous although he showed how loyal he is by saying ‘Had I but died an hour before this, now life has no meaning at all’ and . Banquo a nobleman friend of Macbeth showed his determination of finding the killer by saying that I vow before God to find who is. Since Malcom and Donalbain both have escaped from the castle and left the country, they are considered to be main suspects of Duncan`s murder. While Since Macbeth was the next closest to king after his sons, so he was made the king. The killer of kings mystery is still unsolved and the police are still trying to find out the true murderer until than then the two sons will stay under the custody of police of Scotland. King Duncan’s body is removed to Colmekill a burial place for the kings of Scotland.
